Connecting Broadband in Linux - Bridge Mode

Note: Your Modem must be set to bridge mode.

1. Open a Terminal

2. Type sudo pppoeconf.

3. Enter password if prompted.

4. Now it will guide you to interactive setup.

5. At the End of Setup, it will ask you,
"Do you want to start the connection at start up."
Give yes if you want.

6. After setup is complete. Start the connection by typing pon dsl-provider in the terminal

7. To terminate the connection type poff

This is a hottest question around the world and am no exception for that.Still there is no clear evidence about what is going to happen.Theoretically , the Mayan calendar ends.After that a new Era emerges, which will be similar to restarting the world. HTC Wildfire - Display ,Touch Sensor and Accelerometer

Just went through the online reviews before buying HTC Wildfire to see everyone cursing the display that "Its Pathetic". That is because of the resolution. The screen is large enough( 3.2" ) to show everything, but the resolution is just 320 x 240 pixels. But this is in no way a set back. Just optimize the home screens and other areas as you want ,to bring out the best out of it. I even felt that, the OSK (On Screen keyboard) occupies , half of the screen when text-ing (new word huh! i mean messaging), but now i got used with it and even in many other phones which have higher resolutions the OSK will definitely dominate. Touch Sensor The first thing i want to tell is there is no irritating double tap , that we see in mobiles like Nokia 5800 .The touch sensor is awesome and some times over sensitive.
